987-22 Bibi 3F New Chitose Airport Domestic Passengers Terminal 066-0012, Chitose
JAL, ANA, korean air, and Cathay Pacific etc.
I think that window shopping will be the basis, but if you are tired of walking, search in the airport, if you search by "you can see the plane" some shops will be announced. In the past, the place of the large sky museum in the third floor was a big restaurant on the window. There is not much if there is time to spare, but the sofa in front of the hot spring is quiet.
I always buy at the airport ...
We can stay at New Chitose Airport hot spring.
I don’t know.
It takes about 15 minutes from the airport to Chitose city area. There is an ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. There is also a business hotel, so if you want to finish it cheap, please search the net. As Chitose does not have a hot spring hotel, please do not expect hot water.
Do you need a lot of time? Half a day if you are not good
Mr. Ohara, nice to meet you. I also used it, I agree!
There is an information desk, so I think it's okay if you contact them. I think you can go to JR because there is an elevator.
Security is really strict; all liquids, creams, hair wax etc. must be in a ziploc bag otherwise they will throw it away. Very unreasonable staff who don’t even accept plastic bags. There’s actually no reason behind the mandatory use of a ziploc bag and no one enforces it outside of security. But anyways, thanks for keeping everyone safe! It’s more important that cologne gets thrown away while ceramic knives get through.
At noon on December 10th, the staff who between the security check and customs were very rude. I asked him questions in English and he did n’t answer me. He only said something that I did n’t understand, and also roared loudly and scared my 3 Year-old daughter! This is the first time in my life that I was yelled at the airport, very bad experience.
Clean and convenient, many more.
One of the coolest airports in Japan! It's so huge and filled with Japanese most represented original characters' shops/pop-up stores: Doraemon, Hello Kitty, Pokémon, Miku,... to a whole Royce's world for exhibition. There are plenty of souvenirs shops specialized in HokkaidÅ's indigenous food & dairy products, which make tourists can't be more free choosing one. Much more than a normal airport!
Easy access from arrival to station. Direct access to Sapporo station every 15mins. But the airport is far from Sapporo city. There is a great shopping mall, we can enjoy shopping, local food, onsen (public bath), and also theater! One of the most entertaining airport in the world.Restaurants are at the boarding area too in the domestic line terminal. Fridged lockers are available beside souvenir shops.English guidances are fewer than Tokyo.
The New CTS International Airport is split between the International and Domestic Terminal. Offering amenities such as a convenient stores, Doraemon and Hello Kitty Interest shops on the 3F. Majority of food options are found in the Domestic Terminal.
Best airport in Sapporo. I love Japan so much!
So many delicious food and lots of souvenirs to choose from.
Awesome and can have free wifi.
International airport right beside domestic. If you are taking JR, it is right at the basement of the mall
Inexperienced staff. Didn’t put priority tag on my luggage despite travelling in business. Causing me 25mins delay at the baggage collection
Train station is within airport complex. Very efficient check in , security and boarding processes at domestic ANA.
This airport is so much fun. Many different stores, including a drug store, many great restaurants, and gift shops. There are even museums in the airport, Pokemon and Royal’ Chocolate World. Though I did not try, but there is also hot spring in the terminal, unbelievable!
Beautiful airport with good connection with the railway
One of the cleanest and most organized Airports in the world. Everything is spotless and it’s very easy to get around. If you have kids visit the Royce Chocolate Factory or Doraemon Sky Walk. Very clean restrooms and spacious walkways.
Had so much fun at Chitose airport - so many fresh seafood to take home on board, and so many snacks and souvenirs vendors its so hard not to shop here! If you are looking for fresh uni and your flights are in the morning you sure will have luck getting a few packs home! I really love this airport! The Thai airways lounge is also very nice - i think it is shared with ANA.
The retail experience is seriously stellar! Upon arrival I explored several shops and eateries as I made my way to the train station! Ate ramen and sampled a bunch of tasty tasty snacks. It also gave me an idea of what I can buy last minute for convenience’s sake.
Nice Airport ðŸ‘Nice staff ðŸ‘Clean as always
Good. The only complaint I have would be that the place to ride the limousine bus isn’t very obvious. You need to walk to the domestic line area and turn ‘left’, take the escalator downstairs and the buses are there. The bus is cheaper than the JR lines especially if you need to transfer several times to your destination. Welcome to Hokkaido.
High efficiency International airportFrom the flight landed stepped out the airbridge till we reach the airport Bus station within 70 MinutesAirport terminal was clean and found everything we needed, public transportation are well organized, Airport Bus system is inexpensive and in high quality standardAt international terminal arrival level there are plenty choice of foods and souvenirs, some are out of your expectation items, worth to find out by yourself
It’s a small compact airport which is easy to access. Allow at least 1 hr - 1.5 hrs from Sapporo.
Friendly staff, extremely clean Airport, a lot of souvenir shops, onsen hotel, restaurants, etc.
One of the newer airports that I've seen. This airport is huge and has a ton of facilities. The domestic and international terminals are at opposite ends. There is so much to do here and so much food to eat. There is a theater and an onsen at the top floor. There is also a Hello Kitty World, a section for Royce's Chocolates, and Doraemon. There are a lot of shops in the bottom two floors so you can finish off the last minute shopping here. The signs at the airport are all in Japanese and English, so the navigation was super easy.
An airport with Onsen facility, cinema and fresh seafood. If you are going to spend long period of time in this airport, the 1000yen super lounge is recommended.
The attitude of the information desk couldn't be worse.
The information counter is very helpful. The inly complain I have is every restaurants in the airport closes at 830PM but i understand that this is how it works in Japan. We respect it. Very clean as expected. We had food at lawson as it was the only place that was still opened.
The airport is great and friendly staff, information centers on every corner and good restaurants, seats are everywhere to rest and have a map to guide you through the airport. Good and cool air port!
Nice design of the link between domestic and international terminals , most restaurants are at the domestic terminal , the lift (elevator) to the JR station is so slow (recommend use escalators if you don’t have a lot of luggage)
My second favorite airport in Japan after Haneda. It's compact but offers a lot of options for shopping, dining and entertainment. The card lounge is also very comfortable and spacious. Its transportation system is also very well structured; takes only about 35 minutes by train to Sapporo.
probably one of the best airports in the world because it is very organized, has amazing food and shopping, and feels very small even though it's service is quite a few domestic and international flights. Is airport is the gateway to Hokkaido skiing.
Was here for two occasions: (1) to make a transfer from Wakkanai to Kushiro, and (2) visiting to do some shopping. Fast service when connecting, all I had to do was to tell the ANA staff, scan my boarding passes, then I went through a secret door. Crazy busy here due to the number of passengers, especially in the shopping concourse. Plentiful parking here and very cheap rates. Free parking if less than 30 minute stay.
Convenient and nicely compact airport. First stop upon reaching the airport was to head to Lawsons to buy onigiri and get small change!
I've visited Haneda, Kansai and Narita airports. However, New Chitose Airport is by far the best. The airport is not huge. Therefore, you can locate your terminals fairly quick. Fantastic if you are that kind of travellers who find themselves lost easily. The F&B variety is stellar. You can some of the popular snacks and confectionery which are unique to Hokkaido. White Lovers, HORI corn chocolate, HORI melon jelly, and others. Pretty awesome! ðŸ˜Be sure to take a stroll upstairs. You can visit Royce Chocolate World (highly recommended). I think this is the only Royce outlet in Japan that has its own in-house bakery. Shop for breads and chocolate here. There are plenty of famous Hokkaido ice cream variety here. It's so delicious, it's heavenly. 😋It is worth mentioning that the airport staff here are friendly. AirAsia counter staff were polite and welcoming.Don't leave this airport unless you have explored everything.
This place is good for last minute shopping or for those who wish to finish up there yen before leaving Sapporo. For Doraemon and Hello Kitty fans, you can find their restaurant here. There is a Doraemon fun game arcade as well. You may want to pay for just a 100 yen for a metal printed Doraemon souvenir (6 designs).
A very visitor friendly international and domestic airport.
The gladdest moment in human life, methinks, is a departure into unknown lands.
21 Jun 2019. This airport is quite large. The first thing I see at the arrival hall is a Tourist Info Center but I cannot locate the place on Maps. To locate and label places is difficult due to the floors involved, orientation and at times language. The airport is spacious, clean, has many facilities, good signages, many shops and eateries. The toilets are very clean. Notices displayed must be read carefully like certain elevators do not go to certain levels.Children will enjoy being here as there are playgrounds, library, activity rooms, etc.
This place is BONKERS! 3 floors of shopping and food. There is even a movie theater, and onsen. Security is quick and efficient so you have plenty of time to explore, shop, and eat. There is a Hello Kitty land for the kids, along with an arcade next to the movie theater. Both ANA and JAL have exhibits in the airport. This has to be the coolest airport I've been to.
New concourt is much better larger more food product to choose
The best ice cream in Japan! That’s the reason I come here!æœå¹Œè¾²å¸é™¢
Great place to transit as we stay over one night, with so many food options on Level 3 from the individual restaurants, one street of ramen stalls and a food court. You can also shop for your souvenirs on Level 2. However, the shops and restaurants close at earlier hours. Most shops are closed by 8pm.
For a Japanese major city's airport, I was surprised how easily accessible it was.
I'm going to get lost at a very big airport
comfortable place with friendly staff
I was happy to find Doraemong's place here. It would be good for kids.
It’s literally a shopping and dinning paradise. You can get nearly every snacks in the airport with lots of place for photos and food. The queue moves quickly. Here are some useful info for flying out.For ANA domestic flight:1. If you do not luggage, use the self-help ticketing and get the boarding pass. 2. If you have luggage, go direct to counter to get boarding pass + luggage.
Not a friendly airport for arrival passengers. The custom officer at passport control shows no eye contact and no facial expressions. Some of the staff at the baggage check were rude rushing people to leave the place even after I said I'm just putting my passport back to my bag...
Best Shopping and Dining experience.Closes by 8PM. Amazing views during winter.Have an observation deck from where we can spot the flights very close.
Beautiful airport, efficient and a great experience. Australian airports should take notes!
Nice airport..crowded,, but awesome
